National Launch
Leaders in Change Management from across the Country attended, the much awaited, LGA’s unveiling of the National Change Toolkit at Unity House on 14th July. ‘Team Wakefield’ led the development and relaunch of the toolkit as a direct response to the results of Have Your Say to strengthen opportunities for people to be supported during times of change. The ChangeToolkit will be used not only by Wakefield but to share learning and strengthen how we engage and involve people in the change journey across public sector organisations nationally.
This Change Toolkit is an excellent resource – use it to learn where you and your team on the change journey, discover how change happens and makes people feel find share or recommend tools for leading change. Use this toolkit to share your experience of change with others.
John Fisher (no other than the author of the Fisher Curve) came to Wakefield for the event and endorsed use of his ‘Fisher Curve’ as an integral part of enabling people to understand where they are on the change journey and to support the process of transition.
Laughology’s Stephanie Davies as Keynote Speaker at the launch got the place buzzing explaining the neuroscience behind Laughter and how much humour helps to manage change.
